You mention “ancient technologies” many times when describing the things we’ll learn in this course-what does that mean exactly?

Well, basically what this means is various forms of mundane and magickal practices from many different cultures that teach you how to integrate the various aspects of your being to live your life in the most authentic way possible-and get all the “good stuff” you’ve been desiring but haven’t known how to put yourself in alignment with.

You see-our desires are sacred. That secret wish you have in your heart for love, money, success (what have you) is a goddess given gift meant to align you with your greater purpose. The reason we often don’t get what we want is because we also have a bunch of familial and societal programming (old worn out genetic and cultural beliefs) about how we’re supposed to behave (read: be good and sweet) or what we unconsciously believe we deserve.

And there are ancient technologies (in this course I’ve pulled from my studies of Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tibetan Tantric Buddhism, Indigenous Herbalism, the Wise Woman herbal tradition, the Mayan and Shipibo healing traditions, American Folk Magic, and the ancient Greek and Egyptian alchemical mystery schools (Hermeticism) that teach us to dissolve our attachments, learn to love and honor every part of ourselves, and integrate into who we were always meant to be. In the ancient mystery schools this was called The Great Work. In reality: it’s the simple, but often challenging process of merging with your larger destiny.

So, you will be learning how to align with your greater purpose through simple rituals, meditations, breath work, and yoga.

As well as the more mundane practices (upon which our very ability to do magick rests!) of taking care of your physical form according to your unique constitution. Using Doshic theory from Ayurveda and Elemental theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine you will learn lifestyle, herbal, and dietary choices that can bring you to a greater state of vibrancy and self knowledge. The Great Work is made vastly more easeful by applying the simple universal axiom of “know thyself.”

Can you tell me about the logistical details of the class?

Yes! The course is split into 6 PDF modules: one for each element (Earth, Ether, Air, Fire, and Water) followed by an integration week module. Each module is emailed to you at the beginning of the week, complete with video recordings of all the practices and homework assignments. Each module has energetic practices (like mantra, breathwork, meditations), ritual practices, herbal and dietary recommendations, beautifully curated inspirational food lists and recipes, as well as a different Yoga class for each element!

We have live Q&A sessions in the middle of the week to answer any and all questions that have arisen as you are working your way through the course materials. As well as access to pre-recorded Q&A’s with past graduates for any lingering questions you may have.

AND a group chat with all course participants in the Telegram App (much like Whatsapp or Signal) that will allow you to ask questions, connect with your cohort (a virtual coven!), and share your experience.

Invitations to the live Q&A sessions will be sent out via the group chat and email on the morning of those meetings.

All class meetings will be recorded and made available for you in case you are unable to attend (although I do suggest you try and make it as they are also very fun!).

All the course materials will be yours to keep forever so that you can continue to learn and grow even beyond this container.

I’m new to all of this and I have so many questions! Does me joining the class mean that the instructors will be able to answer all my questions at any time?

That’s so great that you have questions-there truly is so much to learn! Unfortunately, Alex and I are only two people and our vision is to help as many people as possible. This means that we will likely not be available at all times, in all ways (this would make us both real cranky, real fast!). However, we added the second tier for just this predicament. If you feel like you could benefit from some added support-consider signing up for tier two, in which you will receive three private sessions from Alex, and 3 private sessions from me.

These sessions will be paired with what we are covering in the course and will give you individual attention to really deep dive into the intricacies of your personal challenges, and your beautiful gifts!

As an herbalist, energetic healer, and modern day witch: my 1 on 1 sessions work with your subtle body through energy work, through your physical body with more highly fine tuned and specified herbal and dietary recommendations than are offered in the general course, and with your emotional and mental bodies through astrology and the tarot where we can dive deep into what your life purpose is, and how to access it more presently in your life right now.

If you are new to this kind of work, or have more serious challenges and health complications OR simply desire more support because you know if you throw yourself in with whirling dervish like energy you will amplify your desired results (!) -then I highly recommend signing up for the second tier.

Otherwise-the group chat and the live Q&A’s will give plenty of opportunity for your questions to be answered.

How do I know if this course is for me?

If you are a self responsible, grounded adult who is willing to take the time to do the alchemical work to vastly change the quality of your experience physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually-then this is the container for you. Welcome!

It is important that you are grounded, and self-responsible. Alchemical work, or really any work that looks deep into our psyche’s and energetic make-up can bring up reflections that are uncomfortable as they are being integrated. So, you must be able to tend to your own needs in a self-responsible manner. To reach out to friends, a trusted therapist or practitioner, etc. if you find yourself in the murky waters of transmutation and need a helping hand.

If you are new to this kind of work, or know that you will need or desire more support as you go through these processes I highly recommend you sign up for tier two where you will receive individual support from both myself and Alex.

How do I know if the materials in this course will work for me?

These materials have withstood the test of time. Many, many of them have been drawn from ages old medicine traditions that have ushered thousands of people through similar circumstances to what you are experiencing right now. Their beauty is in their flexibility-that they were adapted for the unique qualities (constitutions) that each human possesses. When applied with rigor-I have not seen them fail to increase the quality of life, passion, and love within my clinical experience.

But honestly, you won’t know until you try. And because we prefer to work with accountable humans who are willing to stretch their comfort zones by genuinely committing to themselves and this work-we do not offer refunds.

So, like everything else in life worth having-it takes a certain amount of faith, and a willingness to show up and take a risk. No risk-no reward.

How long will it take exactly to see the big shifts in my life that I want?

Well, like all good “choose your own adventure” books, the answer is: it depends. Some of us come into this life with more baggage than others: be that ingrained beliefs around our self worth, physical ailments via genetic lineages of trauma, or spiritual missions that require a certain amount of painful experience before we can heal it, and begin teaching it to others.

For certain areas of my life-friendship and community building for example- it was relatively easy for me to use the practices we’ll be learning in this course to call in and build really beautiful aligned community connections. Within mere months I was rolling in magickal friendships.

Money took me a bit longer-about a year of consistent work which was about the same amount of time it took my lingering physical symptoms to resolve (the body needs time!). And intimate relationships have been an ongoing process (I’ll keep ya posted!).

For others it will look differently. Sometimes people are right on the verge of big shifts and this work tips them over the edge almost immediately (within weeks even!) and in other areas where there is more “stuckness” it may take some time.

Never fear-any amount of work brings some reward-and in all honesty it is usually the areas that we have the most challenge that also end up being the areas that we become the most qualified to help others with once we have healed them. The greater the obstacle-the bigger the reward! Sometimes our biggest medicine lies all wrapped up in our greatest grief.

Generally speaking, people usually see results from consistently applying themselves to a given area within 3-6 months. Remember-we are living in dense materiality. It takes a minute for our magick to condense down into the 3D!

The great thing is-that you will have access to these materials for life! So you can continue to use them to bust through your “problem” areas effectively and wisely long after the group container has closed.

Also-in my humble experience these practices are wildly faster and more effective than more “traditional” “talk therapy” which can take years and years to arrive at the desired result. Not that talk therapy doesn’t have a valuable role to play-but I would much rather spend a year of diligent practice that gets to the root of what I am experiencing and creates real lasting change that I can enjoy (with a good 1 on 1 practitioner to hold space for me when it gets uncomfortable) rather than 10 years-wouldn’t you?

What is the atmosphere in the group chat like?

It’s supportive, smart, fun, and full of authentic and personal shares. We welcome diverse opinions and ideas-but also have zero tolerance for unkind communication. Our expectation is that everyone will communicate with lots of generosity and respect with one another and we will not bat an eye to remove anyone who does otherwise.

We also will not give refunds to those who get removed for behaving in unkind ways so if this is your personal style of online communication my suggestion is to refrain from signing up for the course.

I want to do this course but I’m busy, how much time will it take?

There’s no way to get around the fact that personal growth takes time: often in the form of focused daily effort (or as us magickal folks like to call it: ritual practice).

Here’s a rough breakdown of the amount of time you will be spending on Elemental Journey:

Once a week: An hour long live virtual Q&A session. About 20 minutes to read through the course materials for that week. Some modules also have weekly ritual practice assignments that can last anywhere from a half hour to several hours depending on your level of personal investment and stoke. There’s also hour long Yoga videos made available each week which can be used daily (if desired) or just once per week.

Every day: Anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour of daily ritual practice depending on the module and your personal level of excitement.

Whenever you want: As much time as suits you engaging in the group chat, getting to know your peers, responding to questions, and sharing your experience!

I love the idea of this course, but money is tight and I’m not sure it’s wise for me to spend it on a class right now…

I totally get that. I spent a good portion of my adult life living paycheck to paycheck below the poverty line. So, I would never ask anyone to invest in a course with me unless I was certain that if they do the work they will receive a return on their investment that is much, much more than we are asking in payment.

Integration with your larger purpose is a funny thing-oftentimes when we are willing to invest in ourselves-we are given the means to make it happen. And as you step onto your path of service-it opens the way for abundance of all kinds to come flowing into your life. It’s a leap-and like most things in life-it requires a little faith.

That’s all well and good, but what if I truly can’t afford it?

I hear you. And if you truly are on your last dime, financially speaking, then please reserve that for taking care of you and yours.

However, if you are simply a little tight, and scared, I advise you to consider the magic and fulfillment that comes from digging deep to make the leap for what you truly want.

Also-Alex and I don’t currently offer scholarships-we have made the course as affordable as possible to make sure that it is already priced to be accessible. And we humans are ingenious at finding ways to scrounge up the extra cash we need for things that we truly, authentically desire. I believe that you will find a way.

However, if you don’t want to, or can’t-I understand. There are many fabulous books out there to help you on your way: I would recommend both Carolyn Elliott’s Existential Kink and Robert Svboda’s Prakruti as good starting places. If I don’t like it, can I get a refund?

In a word: no.

We are looking for individuals who are deeply committed to stretching past their comfort zones. Not people who are just looking to test the waters.
