Tend:: A Lymphatic Breast Care Workshop

“Your breast tissue was designed to be touched.”

~Effie Spurlin of the Spurlin Institute of Lymphatic Breast Care

Our lymphatic system uses our movement both muscular and through our breath to move our lymph fluid around the body.

Our lymph is responsible for delivering hormones and nutrients where they need to be as well as removing our cellular waste.

Our breast tissue does not contain any muscles - only adipose tissue - and so it has a tendency to get congested.

No muscles = less movement in those tissues.

This seems a bit of a design flaw, no?

Not if you know how to do lymphatic breast massage.

Because our breast tissue does not contain any muscle tissue - this is a good indicator that we were literally designed to be touched.

This makes lymphatic breast massage a necessary skill for all women.
